Calls book directly into your calendar, escalate to your phone when needed, and dump full transcripts + summaries into your workspace inbox. The nightly quality engine reviews every call, flags weak spots, and proposes prompt updates for your approval.

Common questions about Receptionist.
What about porting my existing number?
Two paths: forward calls from your existing number (zero downtime, no porting), or port your number to our Twilio infrastructure (takes 5-10 business days, lets us own the call routing fully). Most operators start with forwarding and port once they trust the system.
Can the AI take payments over the phone?
Not directly — we never collect card data over the phone (PCI risk). The AI offers to send a Stripe payment link by SMS, which is the standard pattern. The Payments + AR module handles the invoicing side.
What if a caller insists on talking to a human?
They get one. If a caller says "I want to speak to a person" the AI offers to take a callback request OR transfer to your team if you are within configured business hours. Never traps a caller in an AI loop.
