Module · 7 of 8
Your dispatcher, on duty 24/7. No headset required.
AI routes inbound service tickets to the right crew based on skill, location, availability, and customer priority. Confirms ETAs to customers via SMS. Sends arrival notifications. Handles reroute logic when jobs run long. Cuts dispatcher payroll 60%+.
What this module does
Four capabilities that show up in week one.
01
Skill + geo-aware routing
Reads job type from the inbound ticket (Receptionist + Inbox + booking platform), matches against crew skill matrix + current location + availability. Optimal route assigned in <60 seconds.
02
Customer ETA confirmations
SMS confirmation at dispatch, SMS update when crew is en-route, SMS arrival notification. Reduces "where are you?" calls by 80%+ in month one.
03
Reroute logic for overruns
When a job runs long, the AI auto-reroutes downstream jobs — notifying affected customers with a "running 30 min late" SMS that includes a one-tap reschedule option.
04
Post-job loop close
Tech marks job complete (one tap from their phone). AI auto-generates invoice (Payments module), triggers review request (Reviews module), and closes the ticket. The full ops loop runs without dispatcher touch.
How it works
You connect your field-service management software (or use Morthn's built-in ticket queue if you don't have one). Inbound tickets flow in from Receptionist + Inbox + booking platforms. Our AI dispatcher matches each ticket to the optimal crew based on skill, location, current schedule, and priority. Crew members get the ticket on their phone with one-tap accept. Customers get SMS updates at every status change. Job-complete triggers the downstream Payments + Reviews modules automatically.
Integrates with
Compliance + guardrails
Dispatch decisions show full reasoning (why this crew, why this slot) — operators can override any assignment in one tap. Emergency-flagged tickets (heat-out in winter, water-main break, etc.) bypass standard queue logic and notify the on-call manager immediately. Customer ETAs include a buffer + the AI never promises an arrival time it cannot defend statistically.

FAQ
Common questions about Dispatch.
What if my crews use different mobile platforms?
Crew interface is web-based — works on any phone, any platform. Native iOS + Android apps are on the roadmap for Empire customers but not required.
Does it work for multi-location businesses?
Yes. Each location can have its own crew pool, skill matrix, and dispatch rules. Cross-location overflow logic (send the nearest available tech regardless of location assignment) configurable.
What about parts inventory + truck stocking?
On the roadmap — integrating with the major FSM platforms' parts systems is Empire-tier in Q3. Today the AI dispatcher operates on time + skill + geo, not parts availability.
