Deal & contract office · Module 7 of 7

Deactivation takes revenue to zero overnight. Have the plan ready.

For Amazon and marketplace sellers. The Account Health Rating is a kill switch, not a scorecard — a suspension stops every dollar the same afternoon it lands. Morthn drafts your Plan of Action in the exact three-part structure the marketplace accepts: root cause, corrective actions, preventive measures. Accepting responsibility, and verifiable.

What ships today

Scope, honestly: Plan-of-Action drafting and appeal preparation ship today. Continuous, live account-health monitoring does not — it requires approved Amazon SP-API access, which we do not have. Until it lands, you bring us the notice and the reports; we do not read your Seller Central account automatically. We would rather you know that here than after you have paid.

What this module does

Four capabilities that show up in week one.

01

The structure the marketplace actually accepts

Root cause. Corrective actions. Preventive measures. In that order, in that shape. Sellers get rejected because they send an emotional appeal, blame the buyer, or promise to "be more careful going forward" — which the reviewer reads as no plan at all, because it is no plan at all.

02

A root cause that names a real cause

"We will monitor more closely" is not a root cause. A root cause is a specific operational failure: a supplier who shipped a mislabelled lot, a listing mapped to the wrong ASIN, a fulfilment process with no receiving check. Corrective actions have to trace back to it, and preventive measures have to make it structurally unable to happen again.

03

Never invents evidence

It will not fabricate an invoice, a supplier, an authorisation letter or a document date. Not once. A Plan of Action backed by fake evidence does not merely fail — it ends the account permanently, and it is fraud. Evidence you do not have comes back as a list for you to supply.

04

Reads the metrics you can be killed by

Order defect rate, late shipment rate, valid tracking rate, policy violations, IP complaints, inauthentic-item claims. Which ones are trending toward a threshold and what the fix is, before it becomes an appeal. Today this runs on the reports you export; see the scope note above on live monitoring.

How it works

You forward the performance notification or the deactivation notice and export the relevant reports from Seller Central. Morthn reconstructs what actually happened — the specific listings, the specific orders, the specific policy cited — and drafts the Plan of Action in the three-part structure the marketplace accepts, with a root cause that names a real operational failure instead of an apology. Evidence you have is assembled and referenced. Evidence you do not have comes back as a list. Nothing is invented. A real person on our side owns the submission and the follow-up appeal if the first one is rejected. What this module does not do yet is watch your account for you — that needs Amazon SP-API access we do not hold.

Compliance + guardrails

Absolute rule: no fabricated documents, invoices, suppliers, authorisation letters or dates, ever. A Plan of Action backed by fake evidence ends the account permanently and is fraud — we will decline the work rather than produce one. Morthn does not guarantee reinstatement, and anyone who tells you they can is not being straight with you: the decision belongs to the marketplace. And to say it twice, because it is the kind of thing agencies imply and never state — live account-health monitoring is not live. It depends on Amazon SP-API access we do not have. Drafting and appeal preparation are what ship today.

FAQ

Common questions about Marketplace Account Health.

Can you guarantee reinstatement?

No, and anybody who does is selling you something. The decision is the marketplace's. What we control is that the plan arrives in the structure they accept, names a real root cause, and is backed only by evidence that is real — which is the difference between an appeal that gets read and one that gets auto-rejected in an hour.

Do you monitor my account health continuously?

Not yet, and we are not going to imply otherwise to close a deal. Live monitoring requires approved Amazon SP-API access, which we do not have. Today, you bring us the notice and the exported reports and we do the work on them. If and when that access is granted, monitoring switches on for existing customers at no extra cost.

My appeal was already rejected once. Is it over?

Bring the rejected one. Second appeals usually fail for the same reason the first did — no real root cause, or an emotional appeal where a plan should be. A rejection is useful input: it tells you precisely what they did not accept.
